But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

God’s Plan from the Beginning

In many respects, the crucifixion of Jesus had been the saddest day in history. Even so, there is an incredible outcome. There is a truth and good that WE MUST LOOK AT. No one could see the good in Good Friday until Sunday came. Only those who had eyes of faith could have understood this horrible event would ultimately bring great good for all humanity. God was in control and had a perfect plan. At creation, He ordained this plan to redeem mankind.

An incredible gift came from such an intense sacrifice of love. This undoubtedly proves how God can make good out of any circumstance. Sunday came and CHRIST OUR SAVIOR ROSE!!!! Without Good Friday, there would be no RESURRECTION SUNDAY. Hallelujah!!

Look to the Good There is always good and bad in every situation. We must train ourselves to look to the good and let go of the bad. If we continue to dwell in the sorrow of Good Friday, in which Jesus hung on the cross, we miss the glory of the resurrection. We must on purpose focus on the good news. He is risen and though He suffered on the cross, eternal life is made possible through this sacrifice. Jesus changed humanity forever on the saddest day in history. We all have our own personal cross to bear. Through our own suffering, we are to look to Good Friday.

Father God hear our prayer.

We honor and worship you for you are worthy of all the honor and all the glory.

We take comfort that you are on your throne and we can come boldly and humbly before you with a mighty request.

We ask for removal of the force of evil that has come upon the earth in the form of the coronavirus. We ask for complete destruction of this virus and for our land to be healed.

Forgive us Father of our sins. We repent of bad attitudes, actions and lifestyles, for all unrighteousness. Forgive us for not trusting in you properly and in certain areas of our life allowing idols to be first.

We ask the Holy Spirit to convict us of wrongs and for strength to continually turn from our evil ways. We pray that no one falls away and lose faith and they return to their first love.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to be poured upon the earth and revival to come so not one soul shall be lost. We ask for eyes to be opened and hearts to be turned to your truth.

We pray for your people to partake in real intimacy with Christ and lives to be transformed. We ask for deliverance from darkness and for your glory to illumine and be seen.

We ask for your will to be done.

We thank you and praise you in Jesus name. Amen

2 Chronicles 7:14  if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
