Learning to Trust in the Lord

It is quite an undertaking to trust completely when there are things we do not understand in life. Trust is established when we respond without reservation to the love of God. By recognizing His infi nite love we can genuinely and wholeheartedly learn to trust in Him. God encourages each of us to trust Him deep in the core of our being. He expects us to relinquish ourselves totally unto Him. As we surrender, drawing closer to the Creator, He forms a fresh heart within us. This conversion from within brings favorable and lasting change.
Proverbs 3:5 instructs each of us to trust in the Lord with our whole heart. This encompasses every portion. To love and trust fully, it is necessary to have a healthy heart. A healthy heart has nothing missing or broken; a heart that is whole. It is complete and pure with the love of God fl owing. Our heart being whole emulates His.
