Altar call at Charlie Kirk Service

Many were shocked including well known voices such as Glen Beck that an altar call was given at Charlie Kirk’s service. It shows how far removed the traditional church services have become that this is not known to be done at all Christian burials.

A Christian funeral should shine a light to those who live in darkness. It is meant to be a joyous celebration acknowledging that the deceased did not cease to exist but passed on to a divine place called heaven.

A Christian memorial should offer a glorious glimpse of the greatest place a person can ever live which is heaven. There is no place in existence in comparison. They should hear that each person is given an opportunity to live eternity in a place free of pain and sickness, a never ending life void of sin and evil. They should hear the good news that there they will see the Creator of the Universe face to face and the pure joy that experience will bring. If they did not know they will be excited to learn that those who are awarded heaven will be reunited with their saved loved ones. These glorious facts should bring delight to the one who is lost and prompt them to want to learn how to get there. The service should bring hope and ought to cause in their heart both repentance and acceptance of Christ.

What more opportune time is there to give an altar call?
